Sankofa Rites
A JOURNEY TO SELF HEALING
Sankofa Rites is a Coming Home Program to invoke Self + Generational Healing. This program is based in the principe of Sankofa. To "Go back and get it" (san - to return; ko - to go; fa - to fetch, to seek and take. The concept of “Sankofa” is derived from King Adinkera of the Akan people of West Africa. “Sankofa” is expressed in the Akan language as Sankofa bird “se wo were fi na wosan kofa a yenki.” Literally translated, this means “it is not taboo to go back and fetch what you forgot". Sankofa” teaches us that we must go back to our roots in order to move forward. This 3 month program will show you what we should reach back and gather the best of what our past has to teach us, so that we can achieve our full potential as we move forward. Whatever we have lost, forgotten, forgone, or been stripped of can be reclaimed, revived, preserved, and perpetuated.

Afro Indigenous Conjure Farming Program
\Planting with Spirit Acts as a 5 month Afro Indigenous Vodou + Hoodoo farming program dedicated to educating and empowering BIPOC by way of reconnecting with the land through farming+ gardening ,medicine making and working with our ATR. This program both virtual and in person ( Ayiti) we invoke the energy of self and communal healing, self-determination and self-connection to the healing land. We act as an Individual and collective apothecary, seeking to invoke traditional medicine of the African Diaspora.
We are anchored in sharing land, resources, skills, labor, and healing modalities, to explore new approaches to healing the whole spectrum of the human condition. We are grounded in advancing the healing and elevation of our communities, our lineages, our descendants, healing ancestral trauma and cultivating generational healing and reconnection.

School of VODOU + HOODOO
Ginen “from Ginen/Guinea,” the land of of our ancestors , across the sea in Afrika.
Lafrik Ginen , This school serves as a 7 Month Rites of Passage For Black, Indigenous People. WITH an OPTIONAL 7 DAY retreat in Jakmel HAITI 🇭🇹 you will have hands on experience with ritual and ceremony , witness initiation into Haitian Vodou and sing and dance with the LWA‼️
Bringing forth Vodou + Hoodoo 101 full of basic overstanding of traditions, rituals, hands on practice through ceremony and conjure work. From the tribes of the Fon, Yoruba, and Oyo including its own Aja people—came to Ayiti with only their bodies and spirits intact. In the creolizing cauldron of the enslaved experience, our ancestors different merged their religious and cultural practices so that all might survive.
This school gives birth to the medicine of Afrika that travels from Lafrik, to the lands of Ayiti , and to the plantations of the Deep South … LAFRIK GINEN … Ginen a sacred and mythical place where the ancestors and spirits reside. The birthplace of our anointing, our maji , our ase.
I give praise to the all the spirits of Ginen, that have open the way for this school to be born , to help us conquer our fears and embrace our fullest-self on this journey to liberation and decolonizing all of self.
